An enthusiastic teacher and learner, Megan Altshuler is in her fourth year teaching 4th grade at Green Street School.
Shortly after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and American Studies from Franklin Pierce College, she traveled internationally leading a group of college students on a semester long walking journey through Europe. After returning from her travels she taught at both Kindle Farm School and Greenfield Center School while pursuing graduate courses in Special Ed and math. Megan also spent years designing and coordinating enrichment programs and summer camps at Leland and Gray Middle and High School that included training high school students to work with elementary school students.
Megan shares that when she was young she would often play "school" with her friends. As long as she can remember she wanted to be a teacher! When she is not teaching she can be found snowboarding, playing on the beach, and running around with her husband and two active young boys.
