Kindergarten

Classroom Teacher
Allegra Carignan
I am so excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher! My name is Allegra Carignan. Kindergarten is the foundation for your child’s education and I’m so glad to be part of it. My goal is to help your child feel excited about learning and to love being at school.
Let me introduce myself. My husband and I live in Brattleboro and our children went to elementary school through the Brattleboro Town School system. We are very happy with the education they have received! They are currently students at BUHS and BAMS. I spent many years at home raising our girls and volunteering in our community as a Four Winds Nature Class teacher and as a Girls on the Run Coach.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in American History, Literature and Women’s Studies from the University of New Hampshire and my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education with a focus on math from the Upper Valley Educators Institute.
In my free time I like to watch my daughters play ice hockey and field hockey. I also like to run and hike with my family and our dog. Most evenings when sports are done you can find me reading a book, baking or crafting.
Please reach out with any questions. I’m so excited for our year together!

Classroom Teacher
Kayla Sekenski
Born and raised in Vermont, Kayla attended Keene State College where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Geography.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her dog, fishing, spending time with friends, exploring new places, and watching football games on Sundays (Go Patriots!). Stemming from her Geography background, Kayla hopes to travel to the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, and the Banff National Forest sometime in the near future!
