Classroom Teacher
Meg Chingery
Hi, My name is Meg Chingery though I'm known at Green Street as Miss Meg. This is my 8th year at GSS! In 2016, I graduated from Champlain College in Burlington with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education. In 2020, I finished a three year graduate program at UVM to earn my Masters in mathematics education.
I LOVE teaching math, and I strive to help all of my students love it too! When I’m not at school, I love being outside whether I am hiking, walking my dog, reading, or spending time in my gardens.
Classroom Teacher
Alison Bissonnette
My name is Ali Bissonnette, known by most of you as Miss Ali. Originally from NH, I went to Keene State College and graduated in 2008 with a degree in both Elementary Education and Communications.
I have taught pre-school, kindergarten and third grade as well, but have certainly found my home in grade two and love being a part of the GSS community.
This is my 15th year as a teacher and 9th year at GSS! I am one of the Girls on the Run coaches, the Secretary of our WSEA, a mentor to new teachers and try my best to support the PTO.
In my spare time I like to go hiking with my friends, read, be around animals and out in nature. I also have a 7 year old son in 2nd grade at GSS and we love to go on adventures together!
